#### Thank You! I hope this message finds you all well. Today, I'm thrilled to share with you an exciting new chapter in Credify’s journey. As most of you know, we have elected to take on some genuinely hard challenges for society, attempting novel solutions through the application of some of the most innovative approaches both in terms of technology and business model. We began Credify with the ambition to change the world through a powerful self-sovereign data network and quickly found that one of the most noble pursuits with this was in bringing fair and simple credit to emerging economy participants at their point of greatest need. We were one of the few businesses in the world pioneering the concept of truly embedded finance. ![Credify idX: Self Sovereign Identity](https://heyai-prd-waxmjb-cms.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/idx_7aedbbc457.png) After three years of developing the model, even through the darkest times of COVID, we stand proud in what we achieved, partnering and integrating with several top-tier financial institutions, payment gateways and marketplaces in Vietnam. However, as proud as we may stand, the local impact of the end of ZIRP and drastic domestic policy shifts in Vietnam, one-by-one snatched all victories from our hands. Indeed, there are many things we could have done differently, and in retrospect one of the hardest challenges we faced could have been solved by simply not concentrating our efforts in one of the most difficult countries in SEA for SaaS and especially fintech operators. Of course, there is no single-most weighing factor in our decision to do so, but we truly believed that operating in Vietnam would battle-test our approach and resolve, helping us establish a launchpad from which we could effectively scale across the region. What successes we were able to achieve, we cannot take full credit for, of course. Without the faith and backing of our amazing investors, the friendly and supportive assistance and guidance from our dear local partners and the willingness of our clients to take a risk on our model, we would not have gotten far at all. For this, we are truly grateful! As Elon Musk famously said, "Doing a startup is like eating glass and staring into the abyss for a long period of time.” Now, we entrepreneurs must be masochists, as despite the constant suffering we remain steadfast and determined to grind on into the new unknowns. #### Surprising **Discoveries** In September of 2022, the world experienced the very beginning of what we now understand to be a paradigm shift with the availability of general public access to OpenAI’s groundbreaking large language model, GPT-3. Seeing the potential, we rapidly began to apply this new technology to our own services, flawlessly converting unstructured data inputs (POS invoices) into the strictly structured outputs required by the underwriting processes of our financial institution partners. With this new technology, we were able to achieve in one week of work and a few dollars of system refining what would have taken months and thousands of dollars to train a specific AI model capable of constantly handling this very narrow use case. Needless to say, our minds began to reel at the endless possible applications! Additionally, when OpenAI released ChatGPT, Shu and I quickly mandated every member in our organization to utilize this new tool for literally any task that made sense. This was a bold move, as concerns around data privacy began to hit headlines, but we were convinced that with the right controls around customer data and the fact our business was still in its infancy, the benefits would far outweigh any concomitant risks. It was at this time that we also encouraged our engineering team, and even ourselves personally, to undertake side projects using GPT for the purpose of learning everything there is to know about applying the technology in an enterprise context. With these experiences and hands-on learnings, we effectively became domain experts in text-based Generative AI systems. #### Embracing the New Paradigm In the final months of 2022 and into the new year, the financial services market in Vietnam began to face one crisis after another, and we started to rapidly lose grip of the projects we had worked so hard developing. Having ramped operations into go-live targets of the new year, you can only imagine the feeling of dread that swiftly overcame us as project-by-project, our banking and consumer finance partners reneged on their commitments towards our partnerships and, more importantly, our joint marketplace clients. At this point, we were faced with a hard choice — continue as-is and hope for the best, or re-evaluate our model with an open mind to the prospect of pursuing a completely new business. It was here that, despite the overwhelming feelings of failure, we felt a spark of hope and even excitement. Evaluating what we had achieved internally with the new GenAI capabilities, we began to envision what an AI-first future for businesses would look like. Having witnessed first-hand its potential, we grew exceedingly confident we could leverage our expertise to build a suite of agentic GenAI services with the aim of assisting other businesses to rapidly and meaningfully embrace this new paradigm. #### Hey, AI! After many months of long nights and coffee-fueled weekends, we are thrilled to announce our official pivot into the business of GenAI Agents for Enterprise, or HeyAI.
